Evercore Motors, Biratnagar
Turning Paper Job Cards Into Real-Time Service Tracking
Evercore Motors replaced paper job cards with Pagoda DMS's Service Management module, giving technicians and customers live visibility into every repair.
Client Overview
Evercore Motors runs a busy multi-bay workshop in Biratnagar, servicing everything from routine maintenance to major repairs. Before Pagoda DMS, every job was tracked on a paper job card that moved physically from technician to technician across the shop floor.
That paper trail made it impossible to know a job's real status without walking the floor to find the card. Customers calling for updates were routinely put on hold while staff searched for the right card, and job cards were occasionally lost entirely, along with the repair history on them.
Business Challenges
No Visibility Into Job Status
Finding out where a repair stood meant physically locating its paper job card on the shop floor.
Customers Left Waiting for Updates
Every status-check call required staff to stop and search for the right card before they could answer.
Job Cards Occasionally Lost
A misplaced card meant losing the repair notes and history that went with it.
Our Solution
Digital Job Cards
Every repair is tracked as a digital job card technicians update from the bay in real time.
Automatic Customer Notifications
Customers receive SMS updates automatically as their vehicle moves through each stage.
Permanent Service History
Every job card is stored against the vehicle record permanently — nothing gets lost again.
What the Results Show
Fewer Status-Check Calls
Customers get notified automatically instead of calling in for updates.
Lost Job Cards Since Go-Live
Every repair record is now stored permanently and digitally.
More Jobs Per Day
Technicians spend less time searching and more time repairing vehicles.
Time to Go Live
The full workshop was onboarded and running within ten days.
Implementation Approach
Pagoda DMS mapped Evercore Motors' existing repair workflow — intake, diagnosis, repair, quality check, handover — directly into a configurable digital job card, so technicians did not have to learn a new process, just a new tool for the same steps.
Each technician received hands-on training at their own workstation over two days, and the workshop ran a one-week parallel period with both paper and digital cards before switching over fully, so nothing was at risk during the transition.
Conclusion
Evercore Motors now runs its entire workshop floor digitally, with customers automatically informed at every stage and a permanent, searchable service history for every vehicle. What used to require physically tracking down a paper card now takes seconds on screen.
